Approach & Method

"Many methods exist for finding your balance.

For you, the best one will be your own.

My approach is simple : your own personal resources are enough."

Box’Emotion — Move, feel, understand : boxing as a way to explore yourself.

The approach developed by Mourad Laouichi is rooted in lived experience and the connection between body and mind.

Movement — and adapted boxing in particular — is used as a way to explore, express, and feel your relationship with yourself and others differently.

From the very first moments of a session, Mourad helps each person set down what they're carrying : tension, worries, everyday habits, and the defence mechanisms built up over time.

As if all of it could be set aside for the length of the session, to step into the experience lighter and more present.

His approach is about creating the conditions for a person to feel their resources, available here and now.

Through the body and a space paced to the individual, he guides them toward a state of release, presence, and focus — a state of balance.

This state isn't theoretical: it's first felt in the body, and naturally echoes in the mind.

A person can discover another way of being — an inner strength, a stability that's sometimes forgotten but always there.

That felt sense becomes a new inner anchor they can draw on day to day, well beyond the session itself.

By working through the body, this support gradually helps a person step out of old habits, opening the mind to new possibilities.

Where daily life often pushes us to protect ourselves and cling to old reference points, this work invites you to drop the armour and experience trust, attention, and presence.

It's in this space that Mourad supports the athletes, teams, and people he meets : helping them find new inner anchors, recognize their own resources, and rely on them with confidence along their life's path.

Where the approach comes from…

This way of supporting people took shape over Mourad Laouichi's personal and professional journey, fuelled by a constant curiosity about what makes people tick.

His path led him to work in many companies while, at the same time, coaching a wide range of people in boxing gyms.

Two worlds that seem very different, yet offered him the same ground for observation : everyday challenges, the way people interact, and the search for bearings, balance, and meaning.

Working with athletes, Mourad noticed that what makes the difference isn't strength or performance, but how they prepare mentally for effort and adversity.

Early on, beyond technical skill, he took an interest in the mental side: the ability to stay present, to release within effort, to regulate emotions, and to keep clarity in action.

In professional settings, Mourad Laouichi developed a keen eye for human dynamics: how people communicate, cooperate, clash, or withdraw — and how those dynamics affect engagement and well-being.

Over the years, he has worked with all kinds of people: children, teens, adults, professionals — and also people facing periods of fragility, life transitions, or a recovery process, whether physical, psychological, or emotional.

It's at the crossroads of these years of experience that his approach took clear shape.

An approach where movement becomes the medium, and lived experience the real engine of change.
