Mental health through the experience of the body
Adapted boxing as a tool for self-exploration, emotional regulation,
and personal rebuilding.
Who is it for ?
Offered one-on-one or in small groups, this program is open to everyone — especially people in transition, young people, clinical or community settings, and organizations looking to offer a different approach to well-being.
It's an alternative and complementary approach alongside medical, therapeutic, or any other care pathway.
How does a session unfold ?
Workshops combine physical experience with time for dialogue, connecting what's lived in
action to a deeper understanding of yourself.

01.
Exploration through movement
Participants try out various boxing-inspired exercises: working on rhythm and coordination, partner games in pairs, exploring distance, and more.
These situations bring out reactions that surface in action — impatience, hesitation, stress, or self-assertion — in a concrete way.
02.
Coming back to calm
Time is set aside to settle down through breathing, releasing tension, and tuning in to physical
sensations.
This moment helps you find a calmer rhythm and become aware of what your body experienced
during the activity.
03.
Sharing and discussion
A time for dialogue then lets you share your experience.
Drawing on our background in mental health and coaching, we help you make sense of what happened during the workshop — in a space of listening, free expression, and no judgment.
Themes we explore
Breathing and managing rhythm : acting at your own pace and regulating intensity in your play.
Balance and stability : finding personal bearings and being more grounded in your actions.
Observation and focus : reading a situation, staying attentive to yourself and to others.
Engagement and risk-taking : daring to commit with confidence.
Regulating emotions and stress : learning to stay present and keep your calm.
Timing : learning to sense the right moment to act, without rushing or acting on impulse.
Other themes may also emerge depending on the person, the group, each individual's story, and the needs that arise.

Our work in clinics and healthcare settings
Our support can fit within a clinical setting, particularly in centres specializing in mental health or addiction.

Box’Emotion in addiction recovery
In addiction recovery, several challenges can come into play: impulsivity, managing emotions,
the relationship with craving, and difficulty being patient or settling down.
Adapted boxing makes it possible to explore these mechanisms through the body. It offers
concrete ground for practising patience, mastering one's impulses, and becoming aware of
one's limits.
Through various workshops with the coach, a person experiences managing stress in a safe
space. They learn to stay present, to avoid being overwhelmed, and to draw on their own
resources.
Follow-up coordinated with you team
Our work relies on close coordination with medical and therapeutic teams.
Structured session reports are shared with the referring professionals, with full respect for
confidentiality and established frameworks.
These reports cover our observations, the feelings expressed, and the person's engagement in
the process — without any diagnosis or clinical interpretation

Our support in rehabilitation and mobility
We support people undergoing physical rehabilitation or facing mobility challenges, as a
complement to their existing care.

Box'Emotion in rehabilitation journeys
Sessions can take place at different stages of recovery, particularly after surgery, an accident, a
trauma, or a physical shock. Each session adapts to the person's pace, taking into account fatigue, apprehension, and physical sensations.
Martine’s experience in video
Martine agreed to have her sessions filmed.
For nearly a year, she took one session a week. Over the months, the video became a valuable
marker for her — a way to track her progress and realize how far she'd come.
Here is her journey.
